B&B with Rasja & Wouter in Spain at the Costa del Sol

It has been a while since we were able to help Rasja and Wouter find a suitable location for their future B&B. In the meantime they have been successfully running Cortijo La Zapatera, in Canillas de Aceituno

Rasja & Wouter: “We have been living in Andalusia for almost 4 years now. We still really like living here in southern Spain. Not a day goes by that we don't enjoy the peace, the views and the nature. We have made new friends, speak the language and find our way in our white village, Canillas de Aceituno. The first six months of our stay we have made several improvements: the house and the flats have been given a Spanish soul, the rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences, the gardens have been planted and the various terraces got the necessary shade.

Meanwhile, the Bed & Breakfast is running very well. Our guests are pleasantly surprised by the special rural location, the beautiful rooms and flats, the large swimming pool and the lovely terraces. We make many products ourselves from the yield of our fruit, olive and almond trees. We also try to use local products as much as possible. Because the Axarquía region is still quite undiscovered, we like to introduce our guests to this area in a special way by giving them information that is not in the travel guides.

B&B Cortijo La Zapatera is open from March till October and in the months we are closed, we do maintenance, enjoy the Spanish life, the charming white villages and go on holiday in our own country, Spain. There is still so much to discover!”
