Weekend Beach Festival, Torre del Mar, 10 years of music by the Sea
On July 10, 11 and 12, Torre del Mar once again becomes the musical hotspot of the Costa del Sol, as the Weekend Beach Festival takes over — a staple on Spain’s national music calendar. And this year is extra special: the festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a top-tier lineup and a dream location right on the Mediterranean coast.
The Weekend Beach Festival has been held in Torre del Mar every year since 2014. Started small but now grown into one of the most important events of the summer. In previous years, the festival welcomed over 150.000 visitors with an economic impact for Torre del Mar of over € 7 million. The festival, on the grounds behind Beach clubs Bere Bere and Bahia Tanit, has four stages, a campsite and many additional activities.
Just meters from the sea, the festival site offers all the amenities you need for three full days of non-stop music. With easy access, excellent facilities, and a laid-back beach vibe, it’s the perfect plan for a summer escape in July.
What makes the Weekend Beach Festival stand out is its eclectic mix of genres. Rock, pop, mestizaje, hip hop, rap, Latin urban, and electronic music all come together in harmony. From its very first edition, the festival has brought big-name artists to Torre del Mar, and this anniversary edition continues that tradition in style.
KAPO Closes the Festival in Style
Colombian superstar KAPO headlines with an exclusive show in Málaga. His global hits “Ohnana” and “Uwaie” — with over 75 million views on YouTube — will get the crowd dancing as he closes the festival with high-energy Latin vibes. Behind his success is La Industria Inc, the label also behind Nicky Jam and Manuel Turizo.
Also joining the lineup is legendary Spanish band SEGURIDAD SOCIAL, one of the biggest names of the '90s. They'll perform on Thursday, July 10, bringing their timeless hits back to life.
