Early this year, I decided to take the plunge on a dream I’ve had for many years, to own my little piece of Andalucía. Having stumbled across the website of Second Home Andalusia offering people help to find and purchase Spanish properties, I found myself in the more than capable hands of Caroline and Malcolm.

On a flying visit, Caroline arranged numerous viewings for me and one of them had that feeling we dream of when walking into a house….it felt like home. Within a day I had put in an offer and the day after I returned to England, I had a call to say the offer had been accepted!! Monumental news for me!

Caroline and Malcolm could not have done more to make the whole process completely stress free and explained everything in great detail with their unsurpassed knowledge of the buying process in Spain. They put me in touch with all the necessary legal people to get the purchase over the line. Within two months, all the paperwork was signed (all done by the Power of Attorney from England) and the house was mine!

Not being in a position to relocate to Spain yet, I decided to rent the property in Cómpeta out as a holiday let. Once again, Caroline and Malcolm went out of their way to instruct me on the process and put me in touch with all the right people.

I cannot recommend these two and their company Second Home Andalusia highly enough. Not only do I feel I had some very competent people ‘holding my hand’ through the process, but I feel I have also gained two new friends.
