Día de la Morcilla
The last weekend of April, we celebrated one of the most famous gastronomic festivals in the entire province of Málaga in Canillas de Aceituno; El Día de la Morcilla, a highly prized blood sausage, famous for its peculiar recipe and taste.
This year, the festival we had to days of fiesta, to also honor the Virgen de la Cabeza (the patron saint of the village). Many villagers and other partygoers gathered these 2 days in the Plaza de la Constitucíon, in the heart of the village to eat more than 300 kilos of Morcilla together, while enjoying a drink and good music.
