A memorable day at the notary
In the beginning of January, Nathalie and Hans called: "We have seen a nice house in Almachar that we would like to buy, and actually we have already agreed on the price and so on, but now we are getting cold feet. Can you help us in the further purchase process?"
Interesting question for us because we usually work from the beginning of the search process until the transfer (and often a bit further). But there was a good click between us so we said 'Yes', and we took up the further purchase guidance with great pleasure.
First, we put them in touch with Nacho, one of Lex Iuris' lawyers, who immediately took care of the Reservation Contract and then checked all the paperwork and other legal checks. This allowed us to remove a lot of our concerns right away.
The next steps were: the technical check of the house and pool, deciding the method of finance, the application of the NIE numbers (Spanish tax number), opening a bank account here.... all in preparation for the drafting of the preliminary sales contract that could be signed in early April.
And then came some exciting news ......with the most important steps behind us, in consultation with all parties the date of transfer could be determined; for Nathalie and Hans it was May 20, a memorable day as you can see on the picture.
And then came some more peace because with the most important steps behind us, in consultation the date of transfer could be determined; for Nathalie and Hans it was May 20, a memorable day as you can see on the picture.
Quote Nathalie and Hans:
Marita speaks the language, has all the necessary connections and helps and guides you through the process. That was so nice for us !. We can say that for everything you need to know about buying a second home in southern Spain, we recommend Second Home Andalusia.
