SOLD: Casa Tranquila (Peaceful House) is located on the "Mudejar route" in a beautiful hamlet surrounded by pristine countryside full of vineyards, almond & olive trees with UNESCO protected ancient terracing. The church of Daimalos retains the original minaret from the old mosque and is one of the oldest in Spain. There is also an Arab fountain, legend says it has the properties of giving happiness and love!
From the south facing roof terrace you have wonderful views of the church, the hillsides towards the ruins of the ancient Moorish fortress of Bentomiz and down to the Mediterranean sea. There are no bars or shops in the hamlet itself but the village of Arenas is just a five minute drive, or a 30 min walk, where you will find a bar and a grocery store. The historic market town of Vélez Málaga is a 20 minute drive with a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The coast at Torre del Mar is a 30 minute drive and the airport at Málaga just under a one hours drive.
