You enter the house through the front door situated in the turret and from here you step straight into the living room. This is bright and spacious (9.40 x 4.10m). Central to the living room is a wood-burning stove, for the colder winter months. The ceiling fans cool the house in the warmer months.
From the living room, there is an open connection to the dining room and the U-shaped kitchen, which lies behind a semi-circular arch.
