Finca La Colina in Sedella: “spot on”!
In October 2024 we went on our first tour of Andalusia and were sold straight away. When the weather in the Netherlands stayed grey and rainy all through the following winter and spring, we started thinking about a second home in Spain. The idea was (and still is) to rent it out during the (hot) summer months and use it ourselves with the family as much as possible the rest of the year. In other words: whenever the Dutch weather makes you want to escape. But that turned out to be easier said than done, until we came across Second Home Andalusia. It felt right from the very first contact. Not only because we could communicate in Dutch, but above all because Marita clearly had a great deal of knowledge and expertise. And she was very patient with us, because to be honest, we didn’t really know what we were looking for. Near the coast, or not, because it might be too busy? In the campo, or not, because it might be too quiet and too far from everything? Ready to move into, in need of some work, or a full renovation? It took us a while to work it out, but Marita clearly set out the pros and cons of each option, so that we could make the decision ourselves. After sending houses back and forth by email that might meet our expectations, we drew up a shortlist and planned a first round of viewings. Although our house wasn’t among them, it became increasingly clear what we were and weren’t looking for. What really helped was viewing a house that wasn’t for sale at all, but which Marita strongly suspected was the kind of place we were after. Luckily, she knew the owner well. So the search went on, but now with more focus: the campo after all, and we were no longer afraid of a renovation. Ahead of our second round of viewings, we also booked a few days in our “example house”, to get a feel for whether we could get used to a similar location, at that distance from shops and amenities. That turned out to be spot on. In the end, we fell for Finca La Colina, a converted little farmhouse with lovely Andalusian details, a pleasant patio and views over the campo and a glimpse of the sea. And all that within walking distance of the charming village of Sedella, about 30 minutes from the coast and an hour from Málaga. But that’s when the adventure really began. After all the paperwork (notary, registering with the town hall, applying for an NIE number), which the team helped us with very well, we still had to find a builder to carry out the planned renovation. And again, Marita was a great help, putting us in touch with the right people from her Spanish network. Besides acting as our buying agent, she also managed the entire renovation for us. From choosing the right tiles, deciding where the sockets should go and coordinating the builder, plumber and electrician, right through to choosing the right kitchen. Now, almost a year after the purchase, we are very happy with how it has turned out. We’ve spent our first holiday weeks in our new home, and we can’t imagine how we would have managed all this without the guidance of Second Home Andalusia.

Coming home in Casa José, Sedella
Our search for a house in Spain began more than two years ago. A journey full of expectations, doubts, beautiful places and sometimes disappointments. In the final phase of this search, we came into contact with Malcolm and Caroline from Second Home Andalusia — and that proved to be a turning point. Together with our own buying agent, we had mapped out a route along various properties in the region between Granada and Málaga. Some of these houses were offered by Second Home Andalusia. Even before we met in person, we reached out to get a first feel for the area and the people. From the very first moment — even from a distance via messages — we felt trust, genuine involvement and enthusiasm. Their love for the village of Sedella in particular was contagious. It made us really look forward to the viewings there. Coincidentally, these were also the last two houses of our search… and the last house, Casa José, turned out to be an absolute bullseye. During the viewings, Malcolm and Caroline took all the time. They spoke with passion about the area, the people, the house and everything that comes with it. What stood out in particular was their honesty and calm. No pressure, no sales pitches — but genuine stories and attention to who we are and what we were looking for. They listen, think along and have a good sense of what suits you. The house we ultimately bought is exactly what we were looking for — and even more than that. Throughout the entire process we felt welcome. Not only from Malcolm and Caroline, but also from the village of Sedella and the beautiful surroundings. It feels like coming home to a place we still had to discover. We want to thank Malcolm and Caroline enormously for their involvement, honesty and warm guidance. Thanks to them, our search was not only successful, but also a special experience.

A warm and personal experience from start to finish
From the very first contact, our collaboration with Second Home Andalusia felt right. Malcolm and Caroline are warm, approachable, and genuinely involved people who fully committed themselves to helping us find our ideal holiday home in the Axarquía region. Malcolm looks at the properties with a sharp technical eye, while Caroline perfectly senses what we were looking for and constantly responded to that. Together they form a particularly great team. We felt heard, understood, and supported throughout the entire process. During the purchasing process, we could turn to them with all our questions. They always took the time to calmly explain everything. Especially regarding the legal aspects, their guidance was incredibly valuable and gave us a lot of confidence and peace of mind. We are extremely happy with our purchase in the campo, near Cómpeta. It truly feels like a place that belongs to us. Thank you for the warm, professional, and personal guidance!

Casa San Juan in Almachar — a memorable day at the notary
When Nathalie and Hans called me in early January, the question was different from what we're used to: "We saw a nice house in Almachar that we'd like to buy, and we've actually already agreed on the price and so on, but now we're getting a bit of cold feet. Can you help us with the rest of the purchase process?" An interesting question for us, because we usually work from the very beginning of the search process through to the transfer (and often beyond). But there was a good connection between us, so we said 'Yes' and took on the further purchase guidance with great pleasure. First we put them in touch with Nacho, one of the lawyers at Lex Iuris, who immediately took on the reservation contract and then checked all the papers and did the other legal checks. With that, we were able to allay a lot of concerns right away. The next steps were: the technical check of the house and pool, thinking along about the financing method, applying for NIE numbers (Spanish tax number), opening a bank account here… everything in preparation for drawing up the preliminary purchase contract, which could be signed in early April. And then things calmed down, because with the most important steps behind us, the transfer date could be determined in consultation. For Nathalie and Hans that became 20 May — a memorable day as you can see in the photo. Marita speaks the language, has all the necessary connections and simply helps you with everything. Really very nice. We therefore believe that for everything you want and need to know to buy a 'second home' in southern Spain, you should go to Second Home Andalusia.

Carefree sale of our cortijo in Sedella
We were impressed with the approach of Caroline and Malcolm from Second Home Andalusia for marketing our property. Their approach resulted in a quick and almost problem-free sales experience. By getting to know the wishes and goals of both buyers and sellers well, unnecessary waste of time and superfluous viewings were prevented. They do their homework first! Our property was well researched and brought to the market. Within a few days of advertising, viewings were already scheduled. Even several foreign buyers immediately showed interest. The sales price was quickly agreed upon, the preliminary purchase contract was quickly concluded and, although the final completion date turned out to be a lengthy process due to the buyer's desire to have time to finalize their plans in the US, the team worked "overtime" to keep both parties on track for a successful completion. We would recommend Caroline, Malcolm and Sanne from Second Home Andalusia without any hesitation. With many thanks! Maryvonne and Keith

My own 'Beach Club' in Torrox Costa
For a long time I had a 'if ever' dream of owning an apartment on the beach in sunny Spain. At the end of last year I gathered the money and the courage, a call to Marita and Jan from Second Home Andalusia was the next step to discuss with them what that apartment should look like and roughly where it should be. We sent some houses, places, thoughts back and forth, from that came a wishlist and I went to view them with Martin in March. Two days before I was due to fly back to the Netherlands, a viewing of Torrox Beach Club was scheduled. An apartment with a great sea view, but it didn't meet my ideal picture: according to the new rental guidelines it could not be rented out via a platform, it was one bedroom short and the large storage space was a huge mess: unfinished, full of building materials and moreover it would not become property. In short, too many red flags. Sea view, or the neighbor's laundry? Meanwhile we had viewed a very diverse range: in spots right along the coast, next to the golf course (and the highway...) and in the maze of Torrox Pueblo. It didn't make me happy and frankly before leaving for Spain I was already convinced: a spacious three-room apartment in Viña Malaga was going to be it. That viewing had already been canceled twice, but luckily Marita managed to arrange for me to view it in Torre the day before my return trip. Wow, that was disappointing! Between the Spaniards who live there all year round, overlooking their laundry and the smell of Brussels sprouts in your nose; it gives you no holiday feeling. Despite the red flags, Torrox Beach Club now appeared in a different light. The view was still beautiful, but could the problems be solved? Seizure of the storage After long thought and much consultation with Marita and Jan I made an offer. After some tug-of-war we reached an agreement with the seller and Second Home Andalusia's house lawyer Nacho from Lex Iuiris could start his investigation. He discovered that the municipality of Torrox had seized the storage space. The seller had started renovating there while that was not allowed. It goes too far to put the whole story on paper, but ultimately the purchase went through at a lower amount. I have every confidence that Nacho will solve it with the municipality and that the storage can be used after some adjustments. Not as a third bedroom, but simply as a storage space. Honest advice Because it remained unclear for a long time exactly what was going on and there were constantly new plot twists, it was a stressful process that I would not have dared to continue without Second Home Andalusia and house lawyer Nacho. It is still another country with different rules that you simply do not know. The advice from Marita and Jan was always honest and they made it clear that I could back out at any time. I am glad I didn't do that and that they took so much time to get to the bottom of everything.

From Patosfa to Viñuela
On 28 December 2021, we arrived with our motorhome at the campsite in Los Romanes with the aim of visiting houses from here, together with Jan van der Marel. We wanted to live permanently in Spain. After some study, our preference grew to looking for something in the Axarquía. We filled in our wishes on the Second Home Andalusia site. While we were still on the road, we got almost daily updates. Once we arrived, we met Marita, who explained the buying process very well. We found 'our' house in Cortijo Romero. On 31 January the deal was finalised. We gave the lawyer our power of attorney and drove to Hungary to pack. On 2 June, we arrived at our very own house in Andalusia. Jan had arranged 6 strong men to empty the truck. We are enjoying Spanish life to the full!

Casa El Mirador near Canillas de Aceituno
For three years we searched for a beautiful home in a sunny and quiet part of Spain; we finally found it in Andalusia. After a long search online, I came across the Second Home Andalusia website. The houses and their approach appealed to us, and we filled out the very detailed wishlist on the website. To my surprise, we were contacted that same evening by Marita from Second Home Andalusia. I had not expected such a quick response and was pleasantly surprised. We made an appointment to view a number of suitable houses together, and just three weeks later the first steps were taken towards purchasing a house near Canillas de Aceituno. That was in December, and by the end of February we had already completed the purchase! Casa El Mirador, a villa on a hill with a magnificent view over the valley, is exactly what we were looking for and at the price we had in mind. During the viewings, Marita and her husband proved to be excellent hosts; we were not only guided during the viewings but also provided with all the necessary information and support to complete the purchase. Thank you Marita and Jan!!! Not only for the business side but also for the many pleasant conversations after the viewings and the fun and delicious dinner.

Casa El Faro, the house with a breathtaking view
We were lucky enough to meet Marita from Second Home Andalusia last year when we rented a holiday home in Sedella. During our many trips we fell in love with this beautiful part of Andalusia and decided to rent a place for a few months in winter with the idea of buying our own home here. Malcolm, from Moore Property Services, helped us rent a lovely village house in Sedella. He managed the property and we found him and his wife extremely helpful and well-informed about the area, and the house was very cosy and spotlessly clean. During those months we viewed quite a few houses with local agents, but none of them seemed to understand what we really wanted, which was above all a wide, breathtaking view. We decided to share our wishlist with Second Home Andalusia as well, and within a few days they had already shown us a few possible houses. And very soon we visited the house we have now bought. The agents are incredibly efficient, always respond quickly to emails, and their advice on the purchase process, legal assistance etc. has been invaluable. Now that we live here, we still gratefully make use of their knowledge and advice regarding local facilities and shops, as well as their network of handymen. Malcolm has shown us how to clean our pool ourselves, and he maintains it himself when we're away. Thanks to Second Home Andalusia, the entire purchase and move went smoothly, and we experienced it as very pleasant. We can't imagine how we would have done it without them!

Loma de Arriba, our Spanish dream in Canillas de Aceituno
At the beginning of 2024, we started the search for our Spanish dream. Initially we explored on our own initiative, but when it started to get more serious, we looked for a party that could support us in this process. And so we came into contact with Second Home Andalusia through word of mouth. From day 1 we felt supported and understood. Martin actively started searching with us, gave honest advice and understood our wishes and budget, and responds quickly (because yes, that's what we Dutch want, right 😉). Together with Martin we went to look at various properties, and the house in Canillas de Aceituno stood out head and shoulders above the rest for us. One step closer to our dream, we returned home. From a distance, Martin guided us through the purchase process. Fortunately, we were advised to arrange power of attorney with the lawyer before leaving Spain, so that the process could continue even when we were not present in Spain ourselves. This allowed the purchase to go ahead, and in September 2024 we received the key to our Cortijo. Even now that the signatures are on the contract and we own the house, we still find the contact very pleasant. No question is too much, and time and again they manage to arrange something for us from their network. We are at the end of 2024, and we look back on a year that can be described as successful for us, partly thanks to the support of Second Home Andalusia we were able to make our Spanish dream come true.

So happy with Casa Gusta La Vista in Riogordo
After having been on holiday in Andalusia for a number of years, we fell head over heels for the white villages of the Axarquía. We wanted to be here more often. By chance we found Second Home Andalusia on the internet, and after filling out the wishlist, we were called that same evening by Jan. He listened to our wishes and our search could begin. And now we are the proud owners of Casa Gusta La Vista in Riogordo. We all love walking outdoors in the beautiful Andalusian countryside, but also enjoy going to the small villages and cities like Córdoba, Málaga or Sevilla. Our wishes, questions and planning were listened to carefully, and so our search could begin. For this we travelled to Spain twice and viewed about 10 houses together with Caroline and Jan from Team Second Home Andalusia. The whole tour was well organised and we could count on them for honest advice, tips and points to think about during these visits. Through their experience, they noticed details we wouldn't have immediately thought of (such as the condition of the pool, the filter system, electricity, water supply, location and access roads). After driving many miles through our beloved landscape, we found a beautiful old cortijo just outside Riogordo with a truly magnificent view. This was it! Now came the next phase in which they guided us equally well; from the negotiation, requesting and checking the documents, explaining Spanish law, right through to signing at the notary and handing over the keys. Despite the special COVID-19 situation, this whole process went according to plan. Something we could not have done without their help. Even now that we are renovating some small things in the house, we can still rely on them to find the best contractors for the job and point us to the right shops for tiles, beds and other things we need to furnish our house. Now that the last workman has left and we have the house exactly as we envisioned, we will thoroughly enjoy our Casa Gusta la Vista, especially during the holidays. And, since the house already had a rental licence, we can rent it out right away when we're not there. Thank you Second Home Andalusia for helping us make our dream come true!

Our dream home on the edge of the Sierra Tejeda, Andalusia
When the time was ripe in 2019 to start thinking about a life in our beloved Spain, we went looking for someone who could help us avoid the pitfalls and wild west stories. That's how we ended up on the Second Home Andalusia website via the internet. After filling out the questionnaire, we hadn't even pressed send yet when Jan from Team Second Home Andalusia called us. We immediately felt that this was the party to work with. The conversation was friendly and all our questions were answered. From our armchair we started looking for various houses that met our rather specific wishes. To our delight, Jan and the people at Second Home Andalusia were also very enthusiastic about this. After we made a first selection, Jan immediately started investigating, and soon some houses were eliminated due to problems with, for example, electricity or uncertainties about the land. We would never have discovered this so quickly without him. Eventually we flew to Málaga in February 2020 to view about 8 houses with our own eyes. Everything was made very easy for us. Jan was there at the agreed time and we only had to get in and bombard him with all possible questions. We viewed a number of beautiful houses in a very short time, but when we saw the last house we were immediately sold. It is thanks to the decisiveness and professionalism of Second Home Andalusia that we managed to find and also buy our dream home in Andalusia within 10 days. Barely home and still completely in the clouds, Spain went into lockdown and shortly after, so did the Netherlands. The result was an increasingly delayed transfer and all sorts of other things that couldn't be arranged, but despite this difficult and tense time, Jan and Marita remained always available for questions and stayed in contact with, for example, the selling agent and the lawyer. Eventually the transfer took place in mid-June after all, and we spent the whole month of July working hard to get the house ready for rental. That all worked out, and we are now eager to open our own B&B at the beginning of 2022 and start living in our own 'Castillo de Salia'. ¡Un sueño hecho realidad!

Our dream finca near Canillas de Aceituno
We too are now the proud owners of a beautiful finca near the white village of Canillas de Aceituno. Without the support of Second Home Andalusia, we would not have taken this step. They truly did everything possible to make our purchase as carefree as possible. We never actually intended to buy a house in Spain, but when we started thinking about our retirement and realised we loved coming to Andalusia, we contacted Second Home Andalusia to discuss the options. For a 'certainty seeker' like me, it was very pleasant that Jan and Marita took us through the whole process step by step. Our wishes were well mapped out, and eventually 3 potential houses remained to visit. We wanted a house in the countryside, with a swimming pool and a piece of land. Peace and freedom, but not too far from other amenities. We found house number 1 very beautiful right away, but when we viewed house number 3 the next day, it was immediately clear! Our finca is located outside the village of Canillas de Aceituno, where we can see its lights twinkling at night, on the edge of nature parks with a view of La Maroma. We have a lovely garden with grape vines, olive and fruit trees and beautiful flowers. The house is practically laid out with 2 bedrooms and looks very spacious. The 'outdoor kitchen' was a pleasant surprise, and there are enough shady spots on the spacious terraces. We could have been candidates for the TV show 'dream house search abroad'. Suddenly you're face to face with your 'dream house' and you really feel the butterflies in your stomach. And then you enter the next phase. Quite a few aspects are involved in buying a house in Spain that we initially found a bit daunting. You're buying something in another country where different rules apply. A number of things really need to be investigated, such as the legality of (out)buildings/pool, whether it's free of debts, whether there are no overdue payments, and so on. It all went smoothly and quickly because we were put in touch with the right people. Lawyer, notary, insurance, banking, management and maintenance, you name it… everything was presented to us. A particularly pleasant experience. Although our retirement is still far away, we have nevertheless taken the interesting step of buying a house in Spain. We have worked hard to make it 'our finca' and will enjoy it as much as possible. Living permanently in Spain may well become an option in the future; for now we still work in the Netherlands and come as often as possible to recharge here. The team at Second Home Andalusia 'takes care of everything', so we sit relaxed in the Netherlands and look forward to the next trip to Andalusia.

Projecto El Molino, Benajarafe: the purchase
A second home in Spain — we had never really thought about it, let alone seriously considered it. Until after a 2-week stay in Ronda and a year later in Pedregalejo, we thought it might be worth taking a more focused look at Andalusia. Who knows, we might find a future destination there. So we searched for a house to rent for a few weeks via the well-known search engines, to use as a base for further exploration. The owners of the rental house turned out to be Dutch, and when we wanted to coordinate a few things with them shortly before departure, we mentioned that we were renting the house because we wanted to use the time there to get to know the area better and possibly start orienting ourselves towards a place and/or house. I immediately took the opportunity to ask the owner, as an experienced expert, about tips and tricks and the do's and don'ts of such an undertaking. After about an hour on the phone with her, she concluded with the best advice, namely to contact Jan and Marita from Second Home Andalusia when we were in Spain. We made an appointment right after arriving in Spain, and on the square in Canillas de Aceituno we got to know each other over some tapas and a caña, discussing details about working methods, next steps, what we could and couldn't expect from each other, and above all having a pleasant evening together. Jan, the commercial talker, networker and bon vivant, and Marita, the pleasant and warm personality who doesn't lose sight of the business and procedural aspects — a good combination. Based on the filled-in list with our wishes and available budget, they immediately started looking for possible houses and projects worth visiting. After these were discussed with us, a combination of several houses was scheduled for a day or half-day, and we went viewing, usually with Marita in the Land Cruiser equipped with bottles of cool water. What you notice is that a search is not only for the right house but also for each other. Jan and Marita increasingly understood what kind of house they could bring to us, but even more clearly what kind of house they could not. During the process, it's often the case that you have to adjust some wishes/requirements along the way, or that you might need to move budgetarily. We never felt any pressure from Jan and Marita in this regard, and they continued to enthusiastically present new houses. Also good is the network of advisors, intermediaries, lawyers, banks, contractors, gardeners etc. that Second Home Andalusia has gathered around them. The first time we had to use this was after we found our first house in the countryside around Moclinejo — we knew it needed quite a bit of renovation and also had some reservations about the paperwork of this 'Project'. The selling agent and the owner were full of confidence about this. We then made a formal offer subject to a technical inspection and legal check of the papers, to get the property in exclusivity at least. Here the work of the lawyer recommended by Second Home Andalusia proved very valuable and good: permits turned out not to be in order, the area turned out to be a protected nature reserve with restrictions on possibilities — a no-go. The entire handling and reversal of the preliminary purchase contract went smoothly without us having to worry about the outcome at any point. The search continued, and at the end of yet another few days of visiting houses that weren't right, a cortijo turned out to be for sale in our desired village that met our wishes (sea view, detached, not too much land, in the countryside, within walking distance of amenities and the sea, not too far from the airport — in short, everything on the wishlist checked off). However, the selling agent was unable to arrange an appointment at such short notice, so we, without a house, on the way back to the airport, found the place ourselves. We could walk around the grounds and view it from a distance to get an idea of the house — and that was good. Jan and Marita managed to schedule an appointment with the selling agent two days later, and via FaceTime we could virtually walk through 'Cortijo Molino' with them from the Netherlands. We were immediately convinced: this is it, so we booked a flight back to Spain and 2 days later reached an agreement with the sellers and their agent within half an hour. The further formal handling of this also went smoothly and without much effort on our part. We have our house, in the place we wanted. End of the successful search together with the help and, by now, friendship of Team Second Home Andalusia. But also immediately a new beginning, namely of 'Project Cortijo Molino, the renovation', again together with the friends of Second Home Andalusia, but more about that later. Casa Limonero, our pearl in the Axarquía
We had been dreaming of our own place abroad for some time. During a family holiday in Andalusia in autumn 2021, we warmed to Spain. The relaxed atmosphere, the climate, the delicious food appealed to us. Our eye fell on the Axarquía region because of the peace, the beautiful nature, the friendly people and the wonderful weather. After returning home we looked online at the possibilities and came across Second Home Andalusia. This seemed almost too good to be true — people who, from their own experience, could arrange the entire process from searching to purchasing and afterwards maintaining and renting for us. We were immediately enthusiastic. Our first meeting with Marita was on the village square in Canillas de Aceituno. Marita asked carefully about our motives and wishes, and we immediately had a good connection. After that visit, the Second Home Andalusia team started looking for possible properties. We viewed quite a few, and greatly appreciated the honest advice. For example, we were very enthusiastic about a 'construction project' in Canillas de Aceituno — we saw the potential. Marita pointed out everything that awaited us if we were to start that, which made us decide against it. Very valuable! During our second visit in July 2022, Marita showed us a house in Sedella that met everything on our list. Lots of outdoor space, quiet yet in the village, many atmospheric, original details. This was our dream house! The Second Home Andalusia team then guided us very expertly and pleasantly through the purchase process, which in Spain is really quite different from the Netherlands. In October 2022 the time had come: the handover of the key. A truly special moment where Marita was present and left almost as happy as we did 😊 Some things still needed to be done; we wanted to renovate the bathroom and create a second bathroom. Here too, the Second Home Andalusia team guided us enormously well. Malcolm was our intermediary and translated our wishes to the contractor. He understood very well what we did and didn't want, and made it possible to carry out the renovation from a distance. It turned out fantastically beautiful! Then the exciting moment of renting out and receiving the first guests began. Caroline is truly a fantastic host — she makes sure the house is in tip-top condition when guests arrive, receives them warmly, and both Malcolm and Caroline do everything to make the guests happy. They communicate clearly and pleasantly — it's truly a continuous collaboration. We couldn't have wished for better! Sylvia Houwers and Jonathan Toebes

Our new home in a nice urbanisation in La Viñuela
After travelling around Spain in our camper for two years, we finally chose the region around Lake Viñuela as the destination where we want to live after retirement. In the Netherlands we had lived quite remotely on the Frisian countryside for the last thirty years, and we thought it would be better to seek out civilisation with the company of other people around us and with amenities nearby. It feels not only safer to live less remotely, but since we're not getting any younger, a large house with an equally large garden is too much work for us. We put our house in Friesland up for sale and went looking with various agents for a house with a swimming pool and a beautiful view in Viñuela, Puente don Manuel, Periana, Alcaucin, etc. We discovered that this was not the way to find our dream house, because one agent tried to talk us into this house and the other was no better. We didn't feel good about it and suspended our search until our house in the Netherlands was sold this spring. Now we could really get to work. Via Facebook I found someone who lives in Canillas de Aceituno, and I wanted to know how life in this Spanish village suited them, so I contacted him. After some chatting, I got the advice to look at their website and fill out the wishlist there, so we could be guided from A to Z in the search for and purchase of our dream house. Is everyone in Spain an estate agent, I wondered before hanging up. I sat back behind my laptop and discovered that Marita and Jan, the man I had just called, were the owners of Second Home Andalusia. After visiting their website, I understood that hiring a property finder, which is what Second Home Andalusia is, is a better option than dealing directly with the various agents, so I filled out that wishlist and contacted them again. On 1 April 2019 we were back in Spain and immediately arranged a meeting with Jan and Marita. A few days later we could view the first house, and we were impressed by the Second Home Andalusia team, who had professionally delved into all aspects of the house, such as the location, the construction, the pool installation, the garden and the paperwork. A few weeks and houses later, we bought our detached house in a neighbourhood just outside the white village of Viñuela. At the end of May we signed the papers at the notary, received the keys and moved into Casa Kukis, our new home. But even after this we could count on the service of Second Home Andalusia. Jan gave us the number of an electrician when we were looking for one, and when we needed a doctor he put us in touch with a Dutch doctor. We greatly appreciated this helpfulness! We are therefore also convinced that hiring Second Home Andalusia was a good decision. Gert and Anita Vredenburg
