Admittedly borrowed from the great film with Russel Crowe, highly recommended for anyone who has or is looking for a home abroad. What a super year 2024 is! If you've been dreaming of a house in Spain since childhood and in 2024 you get to put your signature to the purchase contract of a house in Vélez-Málaga, then you can talk about a good year.

After many years of scouring the various websites, we finally ended up at Second Home Andalusia. To be precise, with Martin de Vries. What a great guy he is and what knowledge he has. After listening to our wishes over fresh orange juice, he went to work. This was February 2024, a month later we viewed the first houses that were too high for us. After doing an online viewing in early March and the live viewing shortly after, of what now turns out to be our dream house, we made an offer on 15 March which was accepted a day later. On 27 June, we received the key and are now living in sunny Spain with great pleasure.

Without Martin's excellent assistance, we certainly would not have managed to buy a house in Spain in such a short time. Even after completion, Martin introduced us to his network so that the first renovations are planned, the whole house has now been painted, the swimming pool is maintained monthly and the appointment for solar panels has been made. In August the gardener will start overdue maintenance so by the end of this Good Year our dream house will be completed Thank you Martin!!!
