The village is on the edge of the natural park with many hiking and other mountaineering opportunities, including the beautiful walk 'El Saltillo' that runs up past the village of Canillas de Aceituno towards Sedella, where you cross a 50-metre-long suspension bridge, one of the three longest suspension bridges in Spain! The beach at Torre del Mar can be reached in 35 minutes and the airport in Málaga is just over an hour's drive away.
