Details

SOLD: Calle Granada no 1 is located on the outskirts of the village on the edge of the Natural park. This  spacious 3-4 bed, 2 bath townhouse is over 400 years old and was renovated in 2005. There are two large roof terraces with plenty of potential to add an outside kitchen / dining area where you could relax and take in the wonderful views over the beautiful countryside.

A 5 min walk takes you to the village centre where you will find a grocery store, a weekly market and bars and restaurants including a tapas bar on the plaza where you can enjoy watching village life go by.

Sedella is just at the edge of the Natural Park of Sierras Tejeda and Almijara, ramblers and walkers have direct access into the park to enjoy its natural beauty. There are other Moorish white villages to visit close by, you can be eating fish on the beach at Torre del Mar in 40 mins and be in the centre of Málaga in around one hour. In just 2 hours you can go skiing in the Sierra Nevada/ Granada.

DESCRIPTION

The house is distributed over three floors and is accessed through old wooden doors from the street into a large entrance hall.

Double doors take you into the lounge area (5.10 x 3.70m) with a large fireplace and log burning stove. A window with window seat affords lovely views across the countryside. To the right, through a rustic brick archway, is the fully fitted kitchen (4.20 x 2.95m) also with impressive views from the window.

Back through the lounge a rustic brick archway leads you into the dining area (10.8m2) with frenchdoors opening onto a small terrace area, perfect for breakfast with a nice view ! There is a w/c (1.10x1.40m) and storage area with a rustic built in wine rack just off from the dining room.

From here, stairs lead up to a landing (1.80 x 1.30m) and the entrance to a room (4.5 x 3.35m) with an original open fireplace, this room could be used as a bedroom but would also make a lovely winter sitting room.

Another flight of stairs takes you up to a hallway (1.95 x 1.90m) to the right there is a single bedroom (2.5 x 4.40m) with ceiling fan which could also be used as a study, a  family bathroom (2.65 x 2.30m) and a double bedroom (12.60m2)  with air conditioning unit.

To the left there is the master bedroom (4.95 x 3.50m) with en-suite (1.60 x 2.30m) and air conditioning.
A staircase leads up to a landing area (3.30 x 1.20m)  where there is a washing machine, this area could easily be made into a utility/storage  area .

A door takes you out to the large roof terrace (15m2) with fantastic views over the village, countryside and mountains. Steps take you up to a further terrace (5.65x4.45m) which would make a great location for an outside kitchen /dining area.

IN SHORT
